Medicated Calf Milk Replacers

  • Gerber 26-20 BOV CFLwith Celmanax and Clarifly Calf Milk Replacer Medicated
    • Gerber 20-20 and 26-20 BOV CFL Medicated Calf Milk Replacer with Celmanax is a Dairy Herd and Dairy Beef Milk Replacer for the control of coccidiosis caused by Elmeria bovis and Elmeria Zuernii in replacement calves.  
    • Feeding Program:
    • No whole milk is required after the colostrum feeding period when calf milk replacer is used. 
    • Mixing and Feeding Instructions: 
    • Mix Milk replacer at a rate of 10 oz. Of dry powder per two quarts of water (110 degrees F) See Chart.  Each quart of milk replacer will contain 11.34 mg of lasalocid and 2.13 mg of diffubenzuron.  

    Calf Weight  

    • 75 lbs. = 1.5 Quarts fed per feeding 
    • 100 lbs. = 2.0 Quarts fed per feeding
    • 125 lbs. = 2.5 Quarts fed per feeding

    •  Dry powder should be weighed to determine recommended amount.  Cup in each bag has approximate measured amounts indicated: 
    • For Best Results: 
    • Provide starter grain mix for calves when they are about 4 days of age and feed free choice up to appetite.  Calves can be weaned when they consume 2 to 3 pounds of starter reed for 3 consecutive days.  Weaning time may need to be adjusted for smaller calves.
