Medicated Minerals

  • Bob White - Bova-Mineral for Beef Cattle
    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for supplementing beef cattle of all types and replacement heifers. Contains Bovatec (lasalocid) for improved average daily gain and/or improving feed efficiency, and for combatting coccidiosis. Designed for animals in confinement or in pasture.
    • Contains 22% Calcium, 3% Phosphorus, 16% salt, a host of trace minerals and vitamins.
    • Not designed to be fed free choice; must be hand fed or mixed with grains or other feedstuffs as a carrier.
    • Complete feeding instructions.
    • For improved feed efficiency in cattle fed in confinement for slaughter: Feed not less than .1388 nor more than .5 lb. per head per day.
    • For improved feed efficiency and increased rate of weight gain in cattle fed in confinement for slaughter: Feed not less than .347 nor more than .5 lb. per head per day.
    • For increased rate of weight gain in pasture cattle (slaughter, stocker, feeder cattle and dairy and beef replacement heifers): Feed not less than .0833 nor more than .4166 lb. per head per day. Note: intakes of more than .2777 lb. per head per day have not been shown to be more effective than a total intake of .2777 lb. per head per day.
    • For control of coccidiosis caused by Eimeria bovis and E. zuernii in cattle: Hand feed .06313 lb. per 100 lb. of bodyweight, not to exceed .5 lb. per head per day. Do not feed to cattle weighing more than 800 lb.

  • Bob White - Cattle Mineral with Rumensin
    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, salt, and vitamins designed for beef cattle, beef cows, and replacement type animals.
    • Contains 1200 grams of Rumensin per ton (600 milligrams per pound).
    • Designed to be mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Offering as a free choice mineral is likely to result in over-medicating with Rumensin. Do not feed free choice.
    • Follow instructions on tag per your specific circumstances
    • DO NOT ALLOW HORSES OR OTHER EQUINES TO CONSUME THIS MINERAL!
  • Bob White - Heifer Mineral with Gainpro
    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for supplementing growing heifers with Gainpro (bambermycins) for increased average daily gain year-round.
    • Contains 13% calcium, 9% phosphorus, 20% salt, a host of trace minerals and vitamins.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. In any case, make sure consumption is between 2.66 and 5.33 ounces per head per day for the proper dosage of Gainpro.
  • Bob White - I.G.R. Fly Control Mineral
    • Formulated blend of calcium, phosphorus, salt, trace minerals, vitamins, and s-methoprene to prevent the breeding of horn flies in the manure of treated cattle.
    • Can be fed free choice, mixed into a total mixed ration, grain mix, or hand fed to individual animals. If fed free choice monitor consumption closely in ensure dosage is within regulated limits.
    • Feed to cattle only.
    • Can be incorporated into a broad variety for feeding programs using all types of forages and grains, or pastures.
    • Feeding instructions:
    • Feed to cattle only and at the rate of not less than .134 lb. (2.144 ounces), nor more than .268 lb. (4.288 ounces) per 100 lb. of bodyweight per head per day. These intakes will provide the allowable amount of s-methoprene per head per day. Feed with good quality forages, plenty of fresh water and a properly balanced feeding program.
