Non-Medicated Minerals

  • Bob White - 1 to 1 Dry Cow Mineral

    • Formulated Blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for non-lactating dairy cattle.
    • Contains 14% Calcium, 14% Phosphorus, no salt, and a host of other minerals and vitamins.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Consumption will vary depending upon type of animal, size of animal, and other feeds offered. Ideally, feed 1.76 ounces per head per day to cattle consuming 25 lbs. of dry matter per day. This will supply 0.3 ppm Selenium on a dry matter basis.
    • Designed for animals that are fed grass type forages, including corn silage, or mixed mostly grass type forages.
  • Bob White - 12% Mineral

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, salt, and vitamins designed for all types of cattle, horses, and other equines.
    • Contains 18% Calcium, 12% Phosphorus, about 10% salt, and a host of other minerals and vitamins.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Consumption will vary depending upon type of animal, size of animal, and other feeds offered. Consumption should be from 2 to 4 ounces per head per day on mature animals.
    • Designed for animals that are fed grass type forages, including corn silage, or mixed mostly grass type forages.
    • If you are looking for a "general" livestock mineral for mixing with grain or to be fed free choice, this is it!

  • Bob White - 16% Mineral

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for all types of cattle, horses, and other equines. Does not contain any salt.
    • Contains 18% Calcium, 12% Phosphorus, no salt, and a host of other minerals and vitamins.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Consumption will vary depending upon type of animal, size of animal, and other feeds offered. Consumption should be from 2 to 4 ounces per head per day on mature animals.
    • Primarily designed to be fed to animals that are fed legume forages or mixed, mostly legume forages where supplemental phosphorus intake is desired.
    • CONTAINS COPPER!!! DO NOT FEED TO SHEEP OR OTHER COPPER SENSITIVE ANIMALS.
  • Bob White - Buffer Pak

    • Formulated blend of sodium sesquicarbonate, sodium bicarbonate, brewer's grain yeast, lime, distiller's grains with solubles, magnesium oxide, and chelated zinc.
    • Can be mixed into a total mixed ration, grain mix, or fed as a top-dress to stanchion fed cows.
    • Mix 40 lb. per ton or lactation cow grain mix, or feed 0.4 lb. per head per day in the TMR or stanchion feed.
  • Bob White - Chelated Brood Cow Mineral

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for supplementing brood cows year-round. Contains 9% magnesium to aid in preventing grass tetany during periods of lush pasture growth.
    • Contains 12% calcium, 5% phosphorus, 19% salt, 9% magnesium, and a host of other minerals and vitamins. Contains a high level of chelated zinc, manganese, and copper for optimum availability to the brood cow. Also, 30% of the total selenium content is derived from selenium yeast, a highly available source of selenium for the cow.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Free choice consumption should be 2 - 4 ounces per head per day range on a mature cow. Consumption may vary according to the quality and quantity of forages.
  • Bob White - Dairy Base Mix

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, salt, and vitamins.
    • Can be mixed into a total mixed ration, grain mix, or fed as a top-dress to stanchion fed cows.
    • Feed according to recommendations by one of our nutritionists. For optimum results, have all forages tested for nutritional content so all minerals can be properly balanced.
    • Can be incorporated into a broad variety for programs using corn silage, mixed or legume hay or haylages, and grains.
  • Bob White - High Mag Mineral

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for supplementing sheep of all types and breeds.
    • Contains 9% calcium, 6% phosphorus, 28% salt, and a host of other minerals and vitamins.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Ideally, consumption should be in the range of .4 to .84 ounces per head per day.
  • Bob White - Sheep Mineral

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, and vitamins designed for supplementing sheep of all types and breeds.
    • Contains 9% calcium, 6% phosphorus, 28% salt, and a host of other minerals and vitamins.
    • Can be fed free choice or mixed with grains or into a total mixed ration. Ideally, consumption should be in the range of .4 to .84 ounces per head per day.
  • Bob White - Southeast Ohio Beef Mineral

    • Formulated blend of major minerals, trace minerals, salt, and vitamins designed for beef cattle on reclaimed strip-mined ground.
    • Primarily offered as a free-choice mineral, but can be mixed into a total mixed ration, grain mix, or fed as a top-dress.
    • Consumption will vary with the quantity and quality of forages and other feeds available. Intakes typically range from 2 oz. To 4 oz. Per head per day but could be higher if forage quality or quantity is seriously lacking. For optimum results in any feeding program, have all forages tested for nutritional content.
    • This mineral is also available in a “hi-mag” formulation (11.5% magnesium), or a formulation containing rabon for fly control.
  • Bob White - Trace Mineral Salt

    • Formulated blend of salt, zinc, manganese, iron, cobalt, and iodine.
    • Can be fed free choice, mixed into a total mixed ration, grain mix, or hand fed to individual animals.
    • Can be fed to sheep; does not contain any copper
    • Can be incorporated into a broad variety for feeding programs using all types of forages and grains, or pastures.
    • Feeding instructions:
    • FREE CHOICE TO CATTLE: Consumption should be 1 to 3 ounces per head per day along with good quality forage and plenty of clean fresh water and a balanced grain feeding program.
    • FREE CHOICE TO SHEEP: Consumption should be .2 to .35 ounces per head per day along with good quality forage and plenty of clean fresh water and a balanced grain feeding program.
    • MIXING WITH GRAINS: Mix 20 lb. per ton of grain mix. Feed according to desired body condition along with good quality forages.
  • Bob White - Trace Mineral Salt with Selenium

    • Formulated blend of salt, zinc, manganese, selenium, iron, cobalt, and iodine.
    • Can be fed free choice, mixed into a total mixed ration, grain mix, or hand fed to individual animals.
    • Can be fed to sheep; does not contain any copper.
    • Can be incorporated into a broad variety for feeding programs using all types of forages and grains, or pastures.
    • Feeding instructions:
    • Feed to cattle at the rate of 1.6 ounces per head per day.
    • Feed to sheep at the rate of .35 ounces per head per day.
    • These intakes will provide the allowable amount of selenium per head per day. Feed with good quality forages, plenty of fresh water and a properly balanced feeding program.
